EAST DEREHAM ROLL OF HONOUR

Other Memorials and References

In addition to the memorials on the Cenotaph and entrance to the Memorial Hall there are other Memorials commemorating Dereham's war dead. These are detailed below. The information varies in each one making a definitive list difficult. They have all been referred to in compiling this website.

'Lost' Roll of Honour 1914 - 1918

Measuring about 10 feet by 4 feet this memorial was hand written on fabric reinforced paper, it lists all who served. It seems that it was on display in the church after the war and was then 'lost' until discovered in the council offices in 2005. There are plans to renovate it and put it on display in the refurbished memorial hall.
